The most affordable solution is probably the Ostello l’Archetto (hostel), with options starting from €25/30 per night/person. It is located about 20 minutes away from the conference venue.
The Hotel Duomo is medium-priced (€50/70 per night/room) and conveniently located (15 minutes away).
A little closer to the conference venue (12 minutes away) is the Hotel Impero, which is a bit more expensive (€70/90 per night/room).
